U will need to copy the video file or movie to to ur computer. I use DVD Shrink and re-author to take out all of the extras. Then I use Omniquit Lathe (version 1) which is made specifically for the Treo 650. A free application that works well is PocketDixv. Use either of these programs to convert the movie file so that it can be used with ur TCPMP. The first two steps should take about an hour or so depending on the size of the movie. Once the conversion is complete u can send the completed video file to ur card using the card reader. This usually only takes a few minutes. Once u insert the card into the treo and open up the player u will need to click on the blue block in the left hand corner and click on "open files" go down the VTS file and check the box and click okay. U should then be able to click play and enjoy ur movie.

I have found that the only music that will be recognized are mp3s. I had to convert all of the music files that were wmas. I found a free converter that has worked pretty well. I can't remember the name of it right now and I am at work.

ok i converted to mp3 and it works, thanks bruce. i was curious if there was any way to play the audio from the phones speaker? i havent had enough time to work on the movies yet tho.

The music should play through the back speaker. Of course, the quality is not the greatest but it's nice to have the music play softly in the background. I found a device on E-bay that plays through my car speakers. It actually plugs into the cigarette lighter and plays on a radio frequency (107.5?)
