K750 Bluetooth Dialup Modem on OS X

I don't have a GPRS bundle, but do have a lot of minutes to burn.
But I have not been able to get the Bluetooth Dialup modem to work on OS X. If I configure everything correctly (using the R520 28.8 V110 modem script), I can get it to dial the number, but then it fails with an error that it does not get a dial tone.
Anyone have any hints ?

I'll have to check tonight when I get home but somewhere in your mac there is a setting to ignore the dial tone...

I tried that as well, but it doesn't seem to work.
