VW 8910, green LED- DEAD?

Got a Verizon 8910. Last night, I got the low battery beep while talking to someone on the phone. I think it beeped twice. Then while I was about to hang up/ending conversation, the battery completely died. Now, when I try to charge it, it gives a solid green light on the LED indicator light thing. No "charging" status on the LCD. I can't turn the phone on. If I push any button, or plug in the charger, all I get is a green light on the LED with no response from the rest of the phone.
Is my phone dead?

Unsure. It's possible the battery is damaged.

i think u need a new battery/charger
