I still keep one of them in my phone arsenal. It is the best candybar style phone I have ever used.

The only problems that we ever had with them (I have 5 or 6 users with them, in addition to myself) is that there was a SIM issue on one of the old software loads. That issue has been completely resolved, however.

If you like flip phones better, the 3125 is a great phone, as well.

The 2125 would probably be my primary phone if I did not need the keyboard on my bigger devices.

Well in a day or 2 I will have joined the club.

I have had the dreaded mpx 220 for almost 2 years now I think. About 6 months ago it started refusing to charge with any cable but the usb data cable.

Sometimes it would charge with a regular one, and sometimes it seemed to discharge it.

So I called Cingular's insurance co. today expecting the worst.

They said that they no longer insure smartphones but would offer me a one time replacement but then they would cancel my insurance.

Fine by me

The told me they would be sending me a refurbished 2125. I had hoped for the 3125 since when I got the 220 it was the top of the line, at least I think it was.

Anyway, I looked at the 2125 in the store and decided that was better than doing an upgrade for around the same cost as the deductible and getting a crappy plain jane flip phone.

Like other people have said, the 2125 seems pretty solid. My mpx220 feels like it is going to flip apart everytime I open it nowadays.

So I am pretty excited, I just hope refurbished doesn't mean I get a scratched screen and food between the keys

Does anyone know how to enable the wifi?

Thanks

Sure, buy a phone that has it. LOL
WiFi isnt crippled, it is missing, there is no hardware in the phone to enable.

My 2125 somehow just slid out of my hands, got dropped and with the impact the battery cover got opened. I fixed it back and it was working all well. ONLY problem I found that the two keys with #9 (WXYZ) and "#" sign are not working. Rest all the keys are working well and phone is doing perfectly fine.

Can some one suggest me how do I fix the problem with above two keys. Can you provide any ways to even open this phone pls? When I press the #9 key, its going deeper (though slight) than for other keys. Anyways, pls provide all possible inputs. Thank you all for taking time.
