Duplicate entries in address book

When I import address files (csv) from the SQL file of my office software into Palm desktop and then sync with my Kyocera 7135, I end up with multiple duplicate files. I want to be able to update the addresses/phone #'s on my phone regularly but is there a way to avoid the duplications? I then have to go through all the files and delete them individually.

Thank you for your help!

I'm not sure, but there might be a setting when you synch that allows duplicates to be made (basically ignoring them), or gives priority to items on the phone, or on the desktop. Maybe try looking for this feature in your software, and adjusting it?

Thank you!
It appears that I can only delete duplicates after they have been imported.
Definately a fault/lack of software ability in Palm desktop.
