currently using L1400.

some says ringtone can be uploaded by L1100 pc sync software.

I looked everyweb but all links are broken.

can anyone email me or give me the url to download?

is there any other way to upload ringtone on L1400?

can anyone help? it would be glad/!/!

I forgot to tell. I want the way to use labtop port.

I downloaded and installed the software from the following link:

When you execute this program it looks like an install package, but all it does is extract the install package. So, select custom or modify. You may be presented with an empty list of options to select. Don't worry, just continue. Note where it says it is installing the software. When it is done, go to that directory and run setup.exe. This is the actual installation package. (Who ever packaged this software didn't know what they were doing.)

This is the LG GSM software. There are three packages in the install package: ContentsBank, PCSync, LGInternetKit which allows you cell phone to act as a modem for you PC. I installed ony the first two. That is, during the install wizard, I selected Custom (instead of Express) and un-checked the LGInternetKit package.

The about screen for LG Contents Bank says
LG1100 - v2.2 (2.2.7.04.02-EN)

I don't know why people insist on posting LG's US website for this software, it is no longer functional.
