Operator banner bites

Does anyone know how I can either change or get rid of the banner that says rogers at&t on a T68i ????
There must be a way to do it. Someone must know.

From what I know the banner is burned into the SIM card.

Pre-SIM card era phones had their banners programmed in, and removal was simply pressing a few buttons into the programmer menu, and then changing it there.
As for the post-SIM card phones. No luck. The banner is programmed right into the SIM card.
