@ key on GD87

Is it just me being silly again (highly possible) or something I've just missed (possible, but less so).
The @ button on the GD87's keypad doesn't actually seem to do anything?

I tried to use it when I was re-entering all my contacts and wanted to add e-mail addresses for them and also when I was sending a test picture to somebody's e-mail address.
On each occasion pressing the @ button caused a beep, but no symbol to appear on screen.

my @ button open my wap browser,

maybe you do not have GPRS?

Mine works perfectly

Just tried a couple more things as I've just earlier got GPRS all up and running.
Anyway, if I press the @ button when I'm not in any menu's then it does indeed launch my WAP browser.
However, if I do the following for example:

Messages
MMS
Create
To

If I start typing in the e-mail address I want to send say a photo to the @ button doesn't actually add an @ sign, in fact it does nothing - I just have to hit the '1' keytwice to get the @ symbol up.
I guess it is highly possible that the button simply isn't designed to do that - if it isn't then it would actually make a ratehr useful feature as every e-mail you want to send will have one in.
