switching phones . please help

Guys hi,
I'm curently in possesion of a Telus samsung a670 , and i'm thinking to get a v710 instead.
Here's the deal that i'm getting.
My 8 month old a670 + $125 CAD, against a 2 month old Telus v710.
Can anyone advize pls ?
