I want a yellow v635 faceplate but they cost a bundle, I have been thinking about spray painting my current faceplate with a glossy yellow spraypaint, the faceplate already has a primer like texture to it so i think it would take to the paint well. Has anybody done this before, or know if this would work?

I painted my last two phones with fingernail polish. They both turned out great. Of course you know that this voids the manufacturers warranty.

That's the dilemna I'm facing right now.
Broken phone + painted faceplate = cranky customer rep.

You will never EVER get even close to good as job painting your faceplates, with both looks and durability if you paint them, vs Powder Coating them. Trust me, I know. Here is an example of my Powder Coating art:

You can send me your faceplates to get done, so you wont have to buy a brand new set, which is also an option. Good Luck!
