Alright, so as many of you suggested I have installed LightWav onto my my 650. Now Im trying to figure out the best way to get songs on there to use as ringtones. It seems that Palm DeskTop does not support Mp3s as a file and is only able to add .wav's. I tried converting a song into wav but it comes out to 35MB. (Obviously more than the stock memory) What do you guys suggest on doing for getting songs onto the 650. Just chop songs? Are there any other formats what would require less space (ie. wma?) Is there any other software out that would help me make this process easier?
Can someone please give me some tips (What programs you use, What file types you put on the phone...etc.) on adding Mp3s to my phone WITH directons.

You need to place the Mp3 files on a SD card.

i got my treo 3 days ago and haven't stopped playing around with all of the options, features, and software thats available. using mp3s as ringtones is a high priority for me and as of right now, im using TreoGuard with PocketTunes and a 1gig SD card. the only problem with treoguard is that you can only assign one file to be played for all incoming calls. there's other software out there that lets you assign mp3 files to specific contacts and groups, but for simple mp3 ringtone use treoguard gets the job done.
oh and one requirement of the program is that you put all music files into a folder on your SD card named /SD_Audio/

I use Ringo Pro and it works great. You can assign any ringtone by phone number, person, or group. If you assign it to a person, the ringtone applies to any phone number in that person's contact info.

How can I get the files in that folder? I already set up the SD Audio folder at my parents house. Can I do that with the sync cable? Or does that not work like the USB cable for my razr?

I like Mring best. Has never crashed my phone, it's cheapest, and it allows you to use either system ringtones or mp3s.
