Anybody using a 6230i in Las Vegas w/ Cingular ?????

I have read and read but I am still getting mixed signals (pun intended).
I know the 6230i will only do 1900MHz for my area with no 850MHz. So my question is, is anyone out there using a Nokia 6230i in Las Vegas and how good or bad is it while only being able to take advantage of 1900MHz.

Thanks in advance

I may be new, but isnt there a thread specifically for these questions?

I am new as well. I have searched and read the thread you are talking about and there is plenty of info on 1900 and Cingular but not that much about 1900 in Vegas. I am just being very specific as Im looking for actual users of a 1900MHz only phone in Las Vegas that have personal experiance with 1900 only in Vegas perfurably with a 6230i.
Still looking for more input please.

Thanks for the input "jeasher", I did notice though that one of the phones you have listed as phones that you own is a 6230.
When you were in Vegas were you using a 6230 or a 6230i ?
Or was it a 6230 that lacks the 850MHz band ?,,,, 1900MHz only ?

Thanks in advance

I don't know which phone I have or what the differences are. All I know is that it works well.

Look at the white sticker under the battery. It will tell you if you have a, b, or i. a will not have anything after the 6230. b will be 6230b. I'm not sure about the i but I would expect it to say 6230i. The other way to tell if you have the i is that the keypad has an actual "button" in the middle of the d-pad. the a & i version are 900/1800/1900. b is 850/1800/1900.
