Moved from a T637 and iPAQ 3850 combo (yuck) to this combined device. The o/s was an adjustment as things weren't intuitive at first - until you realize its oriented around 1 handed operations. Have added applications (sman, tracker, magic profiles, unrealplayer) , a Jabra BT250v headset, 512 MSProDuo, Headphone Adaptor. I love this phone!

I really like Magic Profiles and UnRealPlayer - I use those daily. I tried Tracker and an XP skin but dumped that as I didn't find it useful.

I also tried 'DVDtoSonyP9xx' DVD ripper, which was cool to put movies on the phone and impress your friends. But movies on the phone aren't the best and need a bigger memory stick (512 Mb).

RemoteP9xx: allows you to use a PC to control the phone on the PC screen, when connected by USB or BT. You use the PC mouse and keyboard. Great for typing long SMS and emails if you don't have a WiFi connection or a BT keyboard.

I also tried a voice dialer app but it didn't support BT headsets so I dumped that one - can't remeber the name.

Aloha,

Ya, I have dropped it. It has some knicks and scratches. I messed up the touchscreen once, but got it replaced (free!) by SE in the UK, who have offices in our office complex Farnborough. But I go lucky on that one..

Get a good case (like one of those silicone skins) or use a neck tether (like the ones they ship with SanDisk ships with USB thumbdrives). I also use a screen protector now, just a cut down Palm one from the clearance bin at the local toy shop.

\ Sorry, that should have read Magic Profiles Pro and UnrealPlayer. Check www.handango.com for downloads of the demo versions; usually free to try with limited functionality for a few weeks.
