I recently switched to a treo 650 after years with Series 60. When I connect to the internet, the treo connects via gprs. How do I make it use EDGE? I am in Los Angeles so I'm almost positive EDGE is available here. Also, do applications run in the background. or does it automatically close when you switch to another program. On my series60 if you didn't formally close and exit the app it would run in the background and if you held down the 'menu' button then the apps in the background would show in a list. Also, how do I turn off the keyguard?
