I have had a dell axim pocket pc in which I am use to being able to install various pocket pc applications.

I assume there are various applications as well for the SMT 5600 which I believe runs windows mobile 2003 right? Any good sources for finding and seeing what applications are available?

There is a difference in the applications right? I can't just go and install any pocket pc application, it is specific to windows mobile correct? Some of the sites I visit for applications "pocketgear" seem to only refer to pocket pc applications.

I dont have a 5600 yet, expect it in the next few weeks though. So I am trying to see what is available ahead of time to find a few good applications.

Does it not come with pocket word and excel ?

those sites are mainly for non usa smartphones ,and your always having problems with compatability with the smt 5600 ,because obviously its usa model with different registry and details functions ,would be nice to have a site just for usa audiovox smartphones!!!

not to hijack this thread (i think it will go along well), but i was just at those sites, and downloaded a couple of files/games how do i install them onto the 5600?
