intellisync with sidekick

hey guys i got ride of my sidekick 1 and 2 for a SE p910a and i was wondering because i still have my sidekick data plan running untill i can get all my contacts and emails from my girlfriend backed up. will sync allow me to transfer my emails and contacts to my pc? so i can turn off my data plan?
