Bluetooth file transfer on mpx220

I can not figure out how to get bluetooth file transfer working from my XP workstation to my mpx220. Am I doing something wrong, or is it not supported?

Yes its supported. It depends on what BT drivers you are using on your computer. If you are using the native Windows XP BT drivers all you have to do is right click on the BT icon in the system tray (if its not there, enable it by going to BT settings in Control Pannel) and select, recieve a file, then on your phone, in File Explorer or Photo Album select the file or picture and select send via BT and your phone and computer will connect and voila file transfered. If you are using the Widcomm drivers then you can use OBEX which keeps your phone connected and you can drag and drop files in to the FTP folder on your phone via a Explorer window on your computer.

well...i just tried to reinstall my bluetooth dongle(usb) and it wont recognise i tried it on 3 computers.its doing something different from the last time i used it,it installs the drivers and bluetooth emulator automatically but i cant find any device(bt is on in the phone mpx220) i try installing the widcomm stuff and still no dice.

My problem is a little different. I can find the phone, but could only transfer files if I use active sync via bluetooth and not simply use native bluetooth.

Rememering that Obex may not appear in BT Neighborhood's MPx220 unless [Settings/Beam/Receive...] is selected on the phone.
