To put it in a nutshell: 5.0.0 is an even bigger disappointment than 4.0.0! The release step suggests major changes but there are none. All I could find out was that there are no more problems sending messages with AT commands.
So if you don't have problems with 3.2.0 I don't think you need to update.
I wrote an angry mail to Pandrup - I hope they show some reaction.

I find it rather peculiar that they made a jump from 4. to 5. I'd tend to think that such a minor "fix" would make the upgrade from 4.0.0 to 4.5.0 or something. It's all in the marketing, I guess...

Yes, I can't see any major improvements of either 4.0.0 or 5.0.0 over 3.2.0. I'm still struggling to get information from Pandrup about the details of the revision steps.

Thanks for the info... keep us posted. I'm trying to find out service options in Canada (for getting firmware updated, repairs, etc).
