Okay, this is the deal. I got a LG C1500 about a week ago from Cingular and have decided that I don't really care for it so I have been looking at other budget flips with external screens and speakerphones and have pretty much decided on the S-E Z520A. This phone is pretty much a no brainer imho since Cingular just dropped the price with a contract down to $40, but I do have a couple of quick questions about it:

1. When you search for a contact on the LG it takes a second or so to react, I would much rather it be instanteous, how does the Z520a compare?

2. The contact list on the LG shows the box where you can select home/cell/work numbers etc, but that is pretty much useless to me and the menu deal takes up half the screen, does the contact managers on the Z520a work similarly?

3. With the LG you can mute the ringer without opening the phone, but I would sort of like the ability to deny and accept calls (on the speaker phone) without opening it, does the Z520a allow that?

4. I would like to use the speaker phone pretty much all the time, so I would like to be able to activate while it is ringing when you have place a call (the LG won't allow you to activate it until the other person has picked up). I would also like to be able to pick up with the speaker phone, instead of having to use the regular phone and then switch. Will the Z520a do these things?

5. How good is the Z520a's picture quality? Is it good enough for a 500x750 pixel image? (like you would use on a message board). Obviously the camera isn't a big deal to me considering what I am trading in, but if I have it I would like to be able to use it.

I've found the answer to #2 and #3-5 aren't that big of a deal, so what about #1? Is the search function's reaction pretty much immediate?

Its immediate. Also the phone book is steller. While it does allow for multiple numbers for a single contact it does not take up any extra screen real estate. I love SE because of thier UI, and particulary thier phonebook. The z520 will not dissapoint.
