CDM8940 wont play assigned ringer.

So either there is a glitch in the phone or I am retarded. I am trying to have the phone play one of the pre-loaded ringers as my general ringtone for all incoming voice calls, however, when someone calls it will play some stupid ring that I didnt assign and not the one that it should be playing. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Make sure you don't have custom ringers for the person... the 89xx series is able to assign "custom" ringers (each person has a diff ringer)...

if they don't have custom ringers, and it's still acting funny, take it back to your service provider, and have them re-flash the phone.
