Need a driver for this data cable that makes it so the phone is seen as a qualcomm modem. All the driver does that came with it is sees the data cable. In device manager in windows xp, under ports it just says USB Data Cable. It is also listed under USB as a USB Data Cable. Shouldn't it say something like Qualcomm Modem or something? I can't get the phone detected in DataPilot, and Bitpim will not see the phone either.

Nightman1,
Have you tried the original drivers from Kyocera?

It could be a long shot as yours is not original Kyocera.

yep, tried them. I finally got the phone recognized with the drivers that came with the data cable. Not really sure how I got it to work, but it does. It's my wifes phone, so I wasn't trying too terribly hard, but it works now.
