Unless you consider having it hidden in your pocket so the flight attendant can't see it and "airplane mode". That's what I do! 8)

Even if it did - not like it would make much of a difference - How many flight attendant's actually know what "airplane mode" really is ? They a see a cell phone on and they tell you to turn it off - I would either just tell try tell them that you can turn off the radio even though you know you can't or leave it in your pocket.

I don't know about anybody else - but I've never heard of a plane crashing to the ground in flames because someone was listening to music on their S710

nah i had a qd and it was on airplane mode and they didnt care
