Panasonic & Software Support for SyncML

Hi, I got my GD88 a couple of days ago, and I was a bit bummed that I couldn't sync it with Outlook or some other PIM.
Apparently the nice engineers over in Panasonic-land implemented SyncML in the GD88, but does anyone know what history tells us about Panasonic releasing software to support it after the release of the phone?
It's such an incredible phone, it's a shame the website that advertises/supports it (http://www.panasonicmobile.com/product_new/gd88/eng/) isn't that crash-hot.

Can anyone confirm that syncml works? I saw it advertised as a feature for gd87 somewhere but have seen to server settings for it. By the way does outlook support syncronizing to a syncml server?
You can get things from outlook to gd87 a couple of ways. I exported my contacts and manipulated the csv file and uploaded to my mobile using the software Nico supplied us via datacable, same with my schedule on a weekly basis. Works great but requires maintanence. You can transfer via IrDA as well but only one item at a time.
I heard that pana will release new software with the mobile when they release Gu87 in the US but I have been unable to get confirmation on that.

Theys should release a new sw cause this one here is not perfect 100% and is so easy for them to do so with a flash on our mobiles as we do here in Europe very often with brands as Nokia, Ericsson, Siemens etc. letīs hope is true that info.

But does anyone see SyncML in their menus? If so, have they got it to work?
