hey yall,

i have the lg vx6000 and i wanna know how to edit QCP files. dont worry im not ur average noob asking what i need and stuff. what i wanna know,by all you QCP experts, is how do i change the kb/s from 12kb/s to 6kb/s???? i know i can make mp3's, and im an expert at that, but i wanna save more space on my fone making QCP files instead of mp3.

About the same length as well!

Hint: when you record on ur fone its a smaller size. i need the tone to be under 30kb in order to save it as a ringtone. i know a way to make it come out of the speaker instead of the earpiece.

Note:
when you record on ur fone it comes out in the setting of 6kb/s, but when you make a QCP tone with the program it comes out in the setting of 12kb/s!

Note:
when you record on ur fone it doesnt come out as clear as when you make QCP files with the program, i can edit it and stuff..

so in the end my question is: "how do i change the kb/s from 12kb/s to 6kb/s????"

how do you make qcps into mp3s?

To convert a PureVoice(.qcp) file to .wav file, press the Alt+Shift+C keys in PureVoice. Hope this helps.
