I am running BitPim V 0.8.2, and I am running Windows XP home. I am connecting my VX8100 via USB cable.

Everything is working GREAT, except:

When I export my Outlook 2003 contacts list as a .CSV file, and then try to import them to my phone, it makes doubles of all contacts rather than adding information to my existing contacts. Also, when I try to export my phone contacts as a .CSV file and add them to my Outlook 2003 contacts, they all end up as empty files in my Outlook 2003 contacts list.

Is there a simple way to go back and forth between the two and have each just update the other's contacts information? Sometimes I add contacts while I am out and about on my phone, and want to just transfer them to my Outlook contacts, and vice versa with adding new contact info from Outlook 2003 to my phone.

I have opened the .CSV files from each to look at them, and the values are in different fields when exporting contacts lists. The phone contacts list has names and numbers in certain fields, and the Outlook contacts list has the corresponding information in other fields.

Anybody have a simple solution to this?

I have been able to manually change my calender events with Bitpim but I don't see any way to make it "synch" and have the phone and laptop update each other. If anyone has a solution to this.... please tell us!!
