Depending on your phone, you can drop png (wallpaper) / midi (ringtone) files in certain folders on your phone.

Some are /usr/snd (or img), some are /brew/media/snd (or img).

Here's some ringtones / wallpapers I originally intended (Or extracted from) my KX1

Putting the Tones on your Phone:
Open up BITPIM. Click on the "Filesystem"(it may take a little while to load). Then go to user>sound>ringtones. Right click on the "ringtones" tab. Navigate to "add new file" Find the ringtone that you just made and then click open. It may take a bit of time for the ringtone to load on your phone. When it's finished, cheeck on your phone to see if the new ringtone is there

I use a image program called faststone image viewer. "it is free use google to find it" Once you have opened your file navigate to Tools/batch convert selected image. Click output format and change it to png. now click advanced options Look for where you can reset the size.Change your width to 128 and your height to 125 then click "ok" it is now the sliders screen. click start button and it will convert it over to the png format with the new size.
Open BITPIM. Click on the "filesystem" tab. Then go to user>mypictures. Right click on "mypictures" and select new file. Find your new wallpaper and then click "ok". Go through your phone and check for your new wallpaper.
