I'm thinking about making the switch from Nextel to Cingular.

Anyways, Id like a good reliable phone w/ decent options. I don't care for any of the new phones, especially the ones on the Cingular site.

I found the V600 on eBay, but it seems they have had problems w/ service in the past, enough for Cingular to discontinue the sale of them.

What are ya'lls thoughts on the phone? Any thing I need to look out for?

Thanks.
Bennett

Go for the V635 if you're going the non-Cingular route. It's a ton better at RF than the V600. Heck, even the V620 is better...

Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: Nokia6682/2.0 (3.01.1) SymbianOS/8.0 Series60/2.6 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

I still have my v600 and i still like it.

v600 was the worst POS ever

850mhz problems

i was so frustrated with mine

mine didn't get as good of reception as my v400, so i called cingular and they replaced it brand new, and it's worked like a champ ever since. durable, good rf, etc. (of course it hasn't gotten much use since i won my razr) by the way if interested pm me. i can bundle the phone (in original box) with leather case, blue OEM faceplate, and a BRAND NEW moto HS810 new in box that i never used (i have won so many of these that i have one, gave one to my dad, and still have this one that i've never used)

I still use my V600. It has the newest version of the OS on it that was provided by AT&T Wireless before Cingular took over. No problems with it. Have had it for almost two years now. Great phone. I am probably going to replace it with a V3 or Nokia 6102 when it dies.
