I currently use T-Mobile, but even when I have full signal at at home, people I talk to tell me my voice is cutting in and out, so I'm thinking about switching to Cingular and give the 30 day trial a try. Presently, I have the unlocked Nokia 6170, but from what I've found out on this forum, 850 MHz phone would be a great advantage with Cingular, so my choices are very limited. I kinda like the SE K750, but it does not have the 850 frequency. I'm not really feeling what Cingular stores presently offer, so can you guys suggest something with quad band? I could even wait few more weeks if anything exciting is on the horizon. Thanks!

Something with quad band?

1). Motorola V3 RAZR (established phone with a strong following)

2). Sony Ericsson z520 (upgrade to the z500)

3). Sony Ericsson W600i (need a Walkman with that quad band? But, it's getting less than stellar initial reviews.)

4). Sony Ericsson S710a (discontinued at Cingular, but still available. Strong user reviews.)

5). Motorola v557 (hopefully better than the v551)

Don't need quad band, but want a good phone with 850mhz?

1). Nokia 6102 ( getting good initial reviews)

...best of luck!

Since, reception is big issue for you, I would suggest going for the RAZR. RAZR has been the best phone for reception for me. Simply awesome reception.

If reception is that big an issue go with the Nokia 6010. Best RF hands down.
