Can 903SH Unlock After Oct/05 Build Date?

Hi All,
With all the rumors/facts floating around about Vodafone switching software on new production of Sharp 903sh, I was wondering if any of you guys have bought the most recent version of the Sharp 903sh from Japan and had it unlocked in North America with any problems? For those who don't know, the build date should be stated underneath the battery. If any of you guys who have bought the 903sh with build-dates of 11/05 or Nov-05 and had them unlocked with no problems, please come forward to confirm. It's just that a few of me and my friends have already bought the 903sh from Tokyo through a Japanese friend and I am worried that they might be under the vodafone software, making them impossible to unlock. And this probably will help out the concerns of people who may have bought the recent shipments of 903sh from japan but have not arrived yet.

i am not sure but i heard that the new batch software lock thing is a scam by leung wing from ebay to boost his sale... as vodafone jp would not stop production to change their software.... you think how much will voda loss in revenue if they would to purposely stop to change fw?

I have Oct/05, and it has HK f/w on it. No problem so far.

my 903 is Oct/05. to know for sure, all we have to do is wait until people like myself start attempting to unlock 903s made after this date.
