3 skin limit?

is there a limit to only 3 skins or something? i have a v635 and i have moto, razr and jack skins, i tried to add more skins but when i do i open them and they just look like the moto skin. does anyone know why this is? also if i wanted to delete the moto skin can i do it or would it cause any problems? thanks for any help.

you can have more than 3 skins, i have about 7 or 8.

Unless one of your other skins contains a full icon set deleting the default
moto one will knacker your phone. You can add more than 3 by creating the
relevant folders with p2kcommander - just make sure the folder name
matches EXACTLY the skin file name !!!

yea im using p2kcommander and i do name the folder the way im supposed to but any other skins i add always look like the moto skin. i have a v635 by the way.

I havnt tested this out yet but we are both using the YagerMod...but his skins have 4 rows of icons most skins have only 3

How do we allow 4 onthe skins?

dbv1 what skin are u using? i know the razr skin has the 4 rows but i added the jack skin and it has 3 rows, i have moto, razr and jack skins but i tried adding two different other ones and they just look like moto skin.

try adding a different skin. I have 5 on my v635(YagerMod) right now. I have had that happen to me before on my v551. Apparently there was something wrong with the skin, because I added other skins that did not do this.

another thing that happens when i add another skin it just looks like the moto skin and i get the messages full message on my phone. whats that about

ive seen the 3 limit before when i first started modding my first phone...but that was before i started flashing so i cant really tell because i dont like most of the skins out now....

Im going to test motovista and with some windows XP Blue theme....duno why there is no olive skin yet they have blue and silver...

jguttz its you not the phone or the mod :? kinda werid i just installed a few skins and they work fine just werid how i have two motovita folders and one is the moto skin but i think thats cos i kinda made a few folders but deleted one at one point no clue.... :?

Reflash your phone is what i suggest if you cant get it work :S

yea my phone works that messsages full messages goes away when i delete the skin that i added, i noticed that the moto and razr skins have the 12 icons but then i added the jack skin and it has nine icons then i tried to add the poeticfolly black with the nine icons didnt work then i tried the 12 icons didnt work either so then i deleted the folders and the message goes away

Which jack skin do you have? Can you post a link?

ok i figured it out it was giving me that message cuz i didnt have anymore room on my phone so i had to delete some stuff now it worked. silverjack heres the link to the jack skin too.

I didn't think anyone was using the jack skin. I thinking about making a new and improved one, do you have any suggestions?

lol oh u made that? its a nice skin its pretty plain maybe some icons or a lil more color? black and orange? i dont know i liked it though
