a friend at work was telling me he got his for 100 /w contract, i was doing some resaerch online last night & found this forum i read thru a few threads and i see theres some deals around from walmart,best buy.

i wanted to know which one is best to go purchase this phone from?

also i can't remember which thread it was but someone mention something bout the reason the phones is on sale at these places is because its no upgrade to the newest firmware or something correct me if im wrong.

looking to purchase this phone as soon as possible tommorow

I think Sam's Club and Wal-MArt are offering the Razr for $68 w/2 year contract. You may even find it free with a new activation. Check www.letstalk.com

EDIT: Letstalk has it for FREE after rebate with new activation. They are a reputable company.

Walmart has it for $68 with a 2year contract, and $98 with 1year contract, black and silver. My wife and I signed up for Cingular on thanksgiving and bought 2 blak razrs and the warranty on each of them, got the new rate plans that came out on black friday, our phones just weren't activated till friday morning. We didn't want to deal with rebates because we've had several that we read the instructions 10 times, included everything and they were still denied with no real response why from various places- dell, best buy for example. We were happy to pay the extra $30 for each phone to get a 1year contract. You should be able to find it free after rebates, which you may have to wait 6 months to send for and another 6 weeks to get it, or pay less than $100 for 1 or 2 year and not worry about the rebate. At the walmart we signed up at, the guy was very knowledgable and it was faster than I thought it would be.
