(I only expect to make max 1/2 of what I pay for it, after 1 year, if I decide to keep the phone only for a year) So build quality and durability is obviously important.

| However, I've seen nokias last forever, I haven't seen too many sharp phones, acctually the 903 was the first sharp phone I've seen...the nokia is cheaper, and also has GSM850. The OS is probally goign to be better than the Sharp's but I can't determine that right now. |

Still the lack of GSM850 still looms in my mind, I know somehow it doesn't matter, but it's the principle of it right?
)

Unless if you're willing to price match

It's NOT the principle.. who cares if it has it or not? The point is the phone gets good signal in our city.

The other features, still need to be compared, like video/audio player, and sound quality. 700 dollars is not a cheap phone, neither is 500 dollars. I'm just trying to determine the best bang for the buck. I guess it would be easier if the 6270 was acctually out so people could compare huh ^_^; |

The only Sharp i've seen in person is the 902 from Rex...but after reading and re-reading all the forums, previews, reviews i could on this phone the more i got to like it and without having actually seeing it in person. I've heard reception is great with this phone but honestly, my calls aren't that important to me and i really don't have to see whose's calling, i usually answer my phone if i want too but what's great is while i'm around town, i can have both a phone, camera (still and video) and MP3 players with me and all in one pocket (the w900i has added FM radio off it's headset) If you do get this phone, i'd recommend agetting ATP's 1GB (x150) miniSD card because no phone has a fast enough processor for my liking to-date ![]() If you really must have 850 wait for the Nokia N80, it will have a 3mp cam and a better UI for MP3 and video playback as it's a S60 v3 vs the 6270's S40 v3. If cost is an issue when the N80 comes out the price on the 6270 should have also dropped significantly. |
