hi people im runnin on BG's older MP i mean the 1 widout itunes...my battery life on the e398 is screwed up...i hav the standard chargers n also a new battery but i end up chargin twice a day...in the forums i hav read people gettin thier battersy life up2 2 dayz...HELL!!its a dream for me...

i really dono wat to do...its under normal usage arnd 200 SMS's a day...a few cals...n some 2 songs....nothin more....but still im facin this prb i really really really need help here!!!

200 SMS a day??

when do you get to sleep, mate?

i haven't tested it yet, but if you send so many SMS, make a few calls, listen to a couple songs, then your display never rests, it's on all the time...

there was a thread by iza11, she tested 3 batteries for e398. search for it.

My recommendation, why do you need to upgrade your phone when you only use it for sms? Go back to E398(R372) or V398 software . You phone will able to run longer....

We can also use battery eeprom zone from R372 Firmware for our R373 Firmware. Maybe the battery life is better. I will test it later.

The R372 battery eeprom zone works for R373 also. But I don't know the battery life time yet. Maybe it is longer, maybe not.

I've never had any battery problems on R372 and neither on R373. Too me it lasts almost the same, so I don't think I'll need this procedure, but here it is for all of those that want to try:

P.S. My battery life is good maybe because I have a USB charger cable and I did all my flashings with it...Don't know...
