I am planning on getting the unlocked razr from newegg and I want to see if i can get a cingy plan or family plan without getting tied to a mutli-year contract.

can i activate the phone with customer service or do i have to go to a store, also will they provide me with a sim card.

Thanks in advance, i don't know too much about this stuff and am switching from vzw.

sure, why not? the only problem that you might run into is there might be certain rate plans that do require at least a 1 year contract, but I dont think its that way with all of their rate plans. just certain ones maybe.

just take your phone to a corp store and tell them that you want to start a new line with your existing phone. you shouldnt get much hassle if any at all.
