might be a stupid question....
but which file format has better quality??

i'm gonna use my 903 as a mp3/acc player aside from it being a Phone (hehe)......

and converting the mp3s to acc doesn't bother me at all......

i just need to know which file format gives a better output....
headphones..and the speakerphones as well....

IMHO, I'd rather choose AAC music files even if I've both MP3/AAC options open for playing music or set them as ringtones. To my ears, I couldn't notice a dif after the convertion from MP3s to AAC files on my 903sh. Beside no dif in the sound quality, I actually gain more free memory by having AAC files instead of MP3s.

At the same bit rate, AAC has better quality, so some people just use a smaller bit rate for AAC files and save space. Converting from one compressed format to another isn't a great idea, though, as the the file essentially gets compressed again to some extent. If you have MP3s, then keep them as MP3s, but if you're ripping new tracks off of a CD, use AAC.

if uve got euro, then mp3 will just be simpler. if you have jp.. then i think aac is ur best option.

anyone know of a good mp3 bitrate converter that will do playlists or batch converts ?! i have dietmp3 and it only does 96kbps and my v903 does not open those files!!! i'm looking to convert to 128kbps !!!
