actually. i wuold like a re-confirm.
Its nice that timsta has checked. But so far, we only got information from one person. For all we know, it could of been a rumor like that E-bay dude.

I called easycell they said they are doing just fine with the Novemeber firmwares soo far. Perhaps, Timsta messed up. Or Easycell is lying to me.
Same with Bongowireless though.

Maybe its too early to speculate. new firmware doesn't mean its impossible to unlock.. we just haven't found out how to unlock it yet. thats all.

So for now they may be bricks, but people are now constantly working on a way to unlock. I've read Timsta's messages, and when i read it. He doesn't seem pissed at all that he has 5 v903sh and only 1 works. Thats like 800$ wasted.

Just some thoughts.

firmware is firmware, you can always reflash it. if you are talking about new batches of 903 that are made in Nov for hackers then yeah id be pissed if i bought those phones.

ya well. I've decided i'm going to pick one up. I'm pretty sure someone will find a way to break those phones.

of course i'm not pissed. they weren't my phones lol. well. you believe what you believe. i believe what i believe when i see them with my 2 eyes.

there will always be contradicting stories out there.

best way to test it.. is to buy it yourself.. then have one of us flash it.. if you don't believe. tahts ok. and i said.. there is a way to distinguish them. and to those who pm'd me. i already told them how to distinguish them.

SO before u go out and publically imply that i may be lying.. not doing any testing before posting. perhaps you would like try it out.

oh.. and darren (Easycell) wouldn't lie neither would kevin. but they probably haven't encountered the same issues.

and to think i would mess up 4 phones in a row would be pretty ludicrous.. so dont' suggest that.

cus one thread can say it can't be unlocked! .. but then another says.. it was a single rumor from someone from ebay.

soo.. alot of conflict about this issue.

It's true about the unlocking, some 903sh on the hk market is at present unlockable., some shop in hk sells the 903sh, but will not provide the unlocking service, when the unlocking service was provided by them before,thy just tell ppl to unlock it elsewhere. in this case they may have this batch of phones which is unlockable at present, and trying to get rid of it cheaply. prices for locked 903sh range from HK$ 3000-HK$ 3500
