so I guess its different from say a MKIV Jetta owner getting emblems that say Bora V6 or a MKIII Jetta GLX having Vento VR6.

I never kept track of japanese cars really...mostly more intune with german cars...

but on the japanese nissan site in english, it lists the skyline(G35 coupé) there with the 350gt trim. But I wouldnt really rebadge a car anymore unless the name was really bad for US models (like old watercooled VW, I rather have the euro name Passat say over Dasher)

well cars in japan and US are diff. take honda accord for example. its called Honda Inspire , it has a different exterrior also alot faster than the regular Accord here. its equivalent to TL in the US. people debadging and renaming their car just want a taste of the japanese lifestyle. like putting the license plate on the left side on the Evos. as for the g35, enough power but way too heavy

He's on a Mac... so I bet he used iPhoto, imported the image and then just looked at the stats.

depending on where you live asians can sprout up whole markets to meet our own unique demand...

we have a ton of K-places, sushi places, JCY Houses, 168 Tea shops, cell phone shops in and whole asian malls in markham/richmond hill and GTA...
and the typical form of payment at these places???
not credit card, that's for sure...

take a survey of the ethnicity and age of the avg 903sh user in toronto...
the answer won't surprise us residents..

in hong kong.... cash and octopus (which is also anonymous) is the way to go. not sure about large purchases, but expect people to buy cellphones with cash and not credit card.

Yes, if you compare some Asian countries to places like Canada/US/UK then they're not as "rich", but it's all relative. Over there the food and standard of living are cheaper, so, many ppl are living comfortably.

Have you ever left the UK? Try going to Singapore or Korea, they are very clean and doing quite well. FYI England has some poor areas too. Some life experience wouldn't hurt, you would surprised what stereotypes aren't true. Think before you speak.

...even if it looks like a stock V-Spec. I have been tracking the development and saving magazine clips of this car and their RB26DETT engines since R32 first came out around '89...still can't afford one here in the States

(gotta invest in something else)...only drooling daily on gtr.co.uk. R35 should be out at the end of this year and then worldwide soon. Hope I can get my hand on one of those R35 Evo a few years later as used.

Personal opinion--the GTR's are one of the best cars ever built by man...awesome performance machine that can slaughter almost anything else on the road. I would pick it over ANY OTHER cars in the world...especially if it is the Z-Tune version.

Back to the topic of rich and poor. It's true that everything is relative. There is certain everything in every corner/race of the world... Of course, attitude, belief, restraint, peer influence, situation, and many others also play a big part in what one choose to do with one's "cash." Nothing is absolute.

If you line up the deficit of each country from top to bottom...that would make USA the poorest country in the world. Interesting,huh?!...but true. Remeber, just because a country/person look rich or willing to spend money doesn't mean he/she really has money. In fact, you will see many deprived people tend to want to look rich, whereas many truly rich people really don't care at all.

That's so true. A lot of people I know use up almost 100% of their income for buying new things just to look like they're rich. In my opinion making yourself look too rich will only make people hate you for bragging and attract unwanted trouble. >.>

It's the AutechVersion 260RS...if it is a stagea that warrants special attention...a rare car with a high price. FYI, it's basically a Stagea Series 2 version produced by Autech with RB26DETT and ATTESA-ETS from BNR33, 5-speed manual transmission, Brembo brakes front and rear, along with stiffer body and strengthened drivetrain. Essentially a R33 station wagon...something I really can use.

These things are VERY rare! I almost fell off my bike when I saw it,... and at first, I was like,.. NO! Then I peeked inside,... yup, 6 spd. I mean the intercooler gave it away, but I mean, anyone could of put an intercooler on any RSfour,... but yeah, good on ya! 260RS,... I drooled for a bit,.. then people started starring

So I drooled some more

And get this, the tires he's got on there are Bridgestone Blizzaks, yeah, winter tires on some decent mags,... just like the Skyline,... geebus!
