I brought my unlocked Vs7 back from working abroad, and inputted both a t-mobile and cingular/att simcard, and I always get that roaming triangle on the right corner. Am I being charged for a roaming call? Do I have to register the VS7's IMEI w/ the provider in order to get rid of that symbol? Thanks in advance for the help.

Don't worry about it. I have the same problem with my T-Mobile service and I spoke with a representative from T-Mobile about the problem. They said it's probably because the phone is from overseas and it does not recognize the network completely or something like that. I'm not being charged for it, and they said it doesn't matter since my plan has nationwide roaming included.

Great, Thanks for heads up. I guess I will call T-mobile to double check. BTW, himnametustah, it shows you too have a vs7, do you like it?

The weird thing is when i'm in caifornia, the triange shows up, but when i trave to washington dc, it mysteriousy detects t mobile network...

I have the same problem when I use my "old" Samsung, I was told the phone does this because the s/w doesn't have the latest network info. But it seems a bit weird to me that a "new" Panasonic would do that?!?!

To faye: I think the reason you experience this problem in CA v. WA is because of the Cingular/AT&T merger, Cingular is now using the AT&T towers and T-Mobile is using the "old" Cingular towers in CA v. WA where T-Mobile and Cingular always had their own towers.
