IM+ or VeriChat Pros and Cons ???

Well I'm trying to decide between IM+ or Verichat. I've looked at others and have narrowed my decision down to these two. I would like some opinions from you guys and gals on what you think of these two services.

I am not a big fan of verichat. It disconnected way to much. Sometimes it just didn't want to run. I didn't find it to be the most stable IM client. IM+ worked great. It never disconnected and worked great. IM+ only requires a one time payment unlike verichat which charges annualy. I didn't buy it I only used the trial. I figured I'd try a few different IM clients before I buy one just so I can see what works best for me. I am going to try berryvine next. Why don't you install both trial versions and see what you like best.

After using the trials, I decided to go with im+. I like the overall product better.

I haven't tried Verichat. The concept of annual fees was a deciding factor (as well as mixed reviews).

I'm happy with IM+, however. I'll hold onto this software until RIM releases their Yahoo client to more carriers...

I tried both, and I decided on IM+. I like the interface better, and it seems more stable to me.

Does IM+ allow you to sign in using more than one screenname at the same time?

I know with Verichat, for an upgrade, you can sign on to all your screennames at the same time and be logged in and chat under each at the same time.

i use verichat, i think its fantastic, never disconnects, multiple screen names at once displayed in one contact list. but now im going to download a trial om IM+, people seem to like it better...

A simple Google of the terms (verichat, IM+) will direct you easily. You know Google, right? If not, it's www.google.com.

I think you got them backward? For em Verichat connects flawlessly, while I could never get IM+ to log on to all the services at once.

Bottom line: Play with the trial versions yourself before you buy.

I started using QuickIM again. I tried the old version last year and wasn't big on it but I gave it another go since I heard good reviews on it. I actually like it much better than Verichat and IM+. Seems to be very stable, it hasn't drained my battery quickly, there is no lag time between messages and it hasn't disconnected me yet. So far so good.
