(i figured i'd post this in the sanyo forum too, i might get help here as well)

so i've had my sanyo 2300 on solo for abotu a month, month and a half now and i'd noticed no problems. in fact, the phone had a pretty good little battery in it. i liked it.

until a couple days ago. as soon as i took it off the charger, within 15 minutes, it told me it was dead and had no bars left of battery life. i turned it off, and i guess it turned itself back on and was at full power. then within 30-45 minutes it slowly died again. no bars.

now its just jumping back and forth between 3 bars, to 1, then to none, then to 3, etc. i tried cleaning the dist off the battery but i figured before i go back to Bell and ask some fly by night employee who might not know much, i'd sak some of the experts here. i really don't want to exchange the phone and am hoping it can be fixed by getting a new battery. besides, i've wanted to get a better battery for this phone anyway, i use it ALOT.

anyone heard of this? know any remedies? or what i should do?

thanks.

the only thing i could think of was to remove the battery, put it back. thats a hard reset. obviously you have already done that. seems just like a defect... if you go to a corporate store they should most likely give you a replacement

yeah my local bellworld told me they'd send it in to fix it, with the charger too, and i could get a loaner phone for 25 bucks and a 100 dollar deposit. i might just do that.

i was 2 days over the 30 days. damn.
