Can anyone tell me the difference between
"Wireless Web Messages" and "Casual SMS TEXT messaging"?

Wireless web messages are essentially text messages, but they are sent through the wireless web. You need to have a wireless web plan and access in order to send them. SMS text messages don't require a wireless web connection in order to be sent. They are just sent over the same cell network that your regular calls use. Older sprint and Sanyo models used to only use wireless web messaging. You could receive sms alerts from other people, but in order to read and reply to the message, you would have to sign onto the wireless web. But newer sprint sanyo phones can now handle sms, which is much easier and cheaper since you don't need to have a wireless web plan in order to send messages (although you do have to pay for text messages anyway).

So if I'm signed on to AIM through Sprint's instant messaging portal, when I receive a message in my inbox saying I have a new message from xxxxx, does that count as a wireless web message I hope? I have a Power Vision plan and really don't want to add a text plan too.

Not sure about that one. I would assume that you're not going to be charged a separate fee for a text message since it actually isn't really one. But I would double check your bill the next time you get it. The only time it sends an alert to me is if someone IM's me while I'm not connected to the vision service. If I'm connected, then I don't get a text alert. So if you are getting charged for the alerts, I guess you will have to make sure you fully sign out of the aim service before you exit the vision service so that you aren't charged for the alerts every time someone IM's you.
