A few short Sharp 903 questions.

I just picked up my 903SH from the local FedEx and it was well worth the money I spent on it. However I'm looking at it and I'm wondering if it really is fully unlocked, here's my problems.

I read on the forum here tha the Jap 903SH can't play MP3 ringtones so thats fine.

my 2nd concearn is with the intergrated voice mail. A buddy of mine has a v902 and he has a really nifty integrated voice mail system, but I can't seem to figure out where to find the voice mail on my phone. I tried to go to the settings, call options, voice mail and activate but I get the "Not supported!" error.

Next, I noticed that the keypad doens't light up at all, i'm just wondering if its just my phone or are all of them like this.

Also, i noticed that I can only play Mp3s up to 192kb rate but 320kb mp3s i'm unable to play, was my observation correct or is there another restriction there?

Finally, when I brought the phone over here and popped in my Fido sim card, i was unable to access the internet (not that its necessary or anything, just wondering why I can't use it)

to get the answering machine settings. press Menu, 9 (jp firmware only)

about the keypad. that is odd. you might have testmode unlock. are you able to press the power button whil the phone is on without it turning off? if you press it for less than 2 seconds and it goes off, you have testmode unlock. if it takes 2+ seconds, then i dont know why your keypad lights are off.

only euro and chinese will play MP3, but they have to be less than 192kbps

you have to manually input the internet settings using the information in the fido forum on how to input internet settings on 902sh (they are the same).
