How do i set up my hs850 with my treo 650. it is not work when i search for devices

Did you set the headset up to pair? You have to hold down the power button for a couple seconds I think... Check out the user manual that came with the headset...

10 seconds - until the light comes on solid
then open the boom

The headset is now in pairing mode. Treo should find it with no problem.

I can't get my 850 hs to work either; I pair it, then when I goto use it, it's like the hs can't find the phone etc. I have the headset on, but the call goes thru the phone. Help?

Call transfer between the 850 and 650 is manual. You have to press the multifunction button everytime you make or receive a call.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but if you check palm's support site, they list which bluetooth headsets support the handsfree profile vs. headset profile when paired with the Treo. You want one from the handsfree profile list.

I've gotten that headset to actually work on my Treo 650. However, as you know - Bluetooth on Treo 650 has issues. Have you done the latest firmware update?

My HS850 never worked; I just bought a hs that says "treo" on it and it works ok; not reat though.

I've used the HS850 the SE660 and my HFLink in my Acura... Not the greatest BT implementation but it's getting better with each update... Have any of you tried using RLock with your Treo? It lets you lock applications you use frequently in the memory and it seems to limit the amount of resets I have... Do a search and try it out if you have a chance.
