Z520a - Inactive Smartchip

Hey,
Ive had this phone for about a month now, and im starting to get a problem where the phone tells me it has an inactive smartchip, which causes me to be unable to receive or make calls. This is happening more and more frequently, about once a day, recently its been a couple times a day. Once I restart the phone, its back to normal. Does any one know what causes this to happen? Thanks.

Looks like I stumped everyone...it ended up being a faulty smart chip, replaced with a new one and problems gone.
