hey guys. i have a P910a and the battery life isnt that great i start my day in the morning and my phone is dead by about 5 oclock or so.. i need to be able to slap a new battery in and keep it going. i have been looking on ebay. and they have like 2 batteries from like china or singapore for real cheap. has anyone used these are they crap or what?

I try to stay away from aftermarket batteries, I've had issues that may have been from using a non OEM battery.

I have purchased a few OEM batteries. I have one I haven't even opened so if you can't find one PM me.

Poor life cycles and some power issues that went away once I put in the OEM battery. I had an old Motorola that I bought and aftermarket nattery for and it melted the contacts. That was about 7 years ago, I think the aftermarket batteries have improved but why risk an expensive phone with a cheap battery.
I have issues with the phoe dying by 5:00 but I have a car charger and plug it in when ever I get a chance.

Go with a genuine SE battery and take a look at the Micro Travel Charger:

or a USB charger:

Consider turning off the Bluetooth, voice dialing and turning down the brightness of the display as well as they use a lot of power. I picked up a desktop charger

and use the AC cable from my old T306 with it at the office.

I agree the standby time came be short but its comparable to other converged devices with all those features and a hi res color screen. I always have mine plugged in somewhere (car charger, sync station, iGo Juice)

SMAN will solve all your worries. No need for a battery replacement. Last night I charged my P910a for the first time in three days. Over those three days I held a few conference calls, had SEVEN Always On mail pushing all my messages through in real time, entered a number of contacts into my address book and did a little surfing with Opera. SMAN is the reason it lasted so long. And, for clarification, the reason I had to charge the battery at the end of day three is because I took it out into the Minnesota cold – that rapidly degraded my charge.
