Wirelessly posted (AUDIOVOX-SMT5600/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; Smartphone; 176x220) UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

Does anyone know how to force pie to pull the full html web page and not the wap pages? For example if I go to google it brings me to the wap version. Thanks in advance.

I have no problem going to any full HTML page, including google. I have the MPx 220 but its the same OS and it works the same.

How are you getting to Google - from a directory, or did you type in the url at the Address Bar via the menu? Also, are your settings set to WAP or The Internet (yes, capitalized!).

I get full pages on my 5600. I see you have the Nokia 6620 (but wrote your msg on a 5600). As far as I know, the Nokia isn't a Windows Mobile smartphone and thus does not have Pocket Internet Explorer.

[By the way - Omega - did you download the Google toolbar onto your mpx220? How do you like it?]

haha thats just an ad for the toolbar, its not on my phone. I don't think they make a google toolbar for the Smartphone platform.

Sorry about the confusion. I just got the 5600 and still have the 6620. I am new to the MS Smartphone world. In PIE I type www.google.com in the address bar and I get the mobile version, not the version that you screencap'd. I tried settings on WAP and The Internet but it gives me the same version of google. I downloaded Opera and that gives me all 'real' HTML pages including google. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jay
