Set the hot sync conduits you do not wish to sync to "do nothing" in the hot sync set up.

Right click on the hot sync icon located in the system tray (lower right hand corner) of your desktop and choose "custom."

Tried that, but it still syncd everything, thats why i'm posting here.
I selected to Sync only Memo, Phone, Pics etc, and Do Nothing for QuickInstalls and other Installs, but it still syncd the whole thing.

hey TY...i had all sort of sync issues with my setup also...couldn't find why it was doing what it was doing...thens someone told me to remove my palm software and reinstall, now it works perfectly...try it and see if it will work for you to. Also during the install it asks you if you would like to sync outlook also make sure you dont' click on that. let me know how it goes!

Well, here's a part which might be important and i didnt mention. I had Treo 600 before, and used the old Sync prog. (whatever they had when Treo 600 came out). So all my data was backed up from Treo 600. Now I got Treo 650 (and also installed new Sync software they include w/it). Maybe I can go into my Treo 600, delete every program except the Abook, memos, etc., then reinstall the program, sync old Treo w/computer, and then new treo. Should I do it? Will it work? Also, how can I detele all 3rd party progs on 600 model, OR, can i tell my 600 to sync only main files (no 3rd party). ty
