Curious Button Glitch

Aight, this one's a head scratcher:
somehow my left handed smart button is behaving oddly:
Firstly the text above the button doesn't show unless you hit the button, secondly it seems that in a few programs the button is mapped to two commands and can't decide between the two.... I've tried remapping the button with P2KMenu but can't seem to fix it, any ideas?

nm, figured it out, the mapping of the voice key on the left was affecting it..... somehow..... yeah.... anyway... s'fixed
