My g-friend and I bought each a Treo 650 cingular branded last May. We also bought a pair of "Treo" brand BT headsets. Ever since then we have upgraded to 2 (Cingular) firmware hoping the phones performance would improve.

The incidents below are the report of both our Treos.

1. The Treos keeps soft reseting at least 1-2 time a week.

2. We have not installed any third party software on our phones. Therefore third party applications do not interfere with anything.

3. Te "treo" branded headsets have mind of the own. Sometimes they like to connet and sometimes don't even bother.

4. In the middle of an application the treo(s) freezes and it takes a few seconds (sometimes never until a soft rest) for it to execute the command. This is a little frustrating when you're on a business phone call and want to check a schedule.

I can't think of anything else right now, but overall this little "marvel" plain "sucks" excuse my french. many times I was just about to roll down the window and just throw it out.
I know many argue that his is the best smarthphone out there, but it's full and I mean full of bugs, and please don't tell me ours are just like that. I work for a large company and everyone I know with a Treo has the same problem more or less.

Next time bye bye Palm smarthphones I will just by a Motorola and and separate pda.
