Internet Access Settings

I just got my MPx200 and I must say it's very high quality and feature rich phone even without the camera and bluetooth. But since this is my first Smartphone I'm having bit of problems getting the phone to access the internet. I have upgraded the rom to WM2003 and unlocked it.

I have Cingular service with no additional data plan so is it possible for me to access the internet using the MPx200? I don't mind paying per use fee for now. How do I set the phone to access the internet? MSN Messenger? Can I access hotmail or gmail from my phone? How do I set this up?

Thanks.

Yes, Cingulars MEdia net settings are on my blog.

Here is the link to my post in my blog: http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/blo...howentry&eid=56

This is for WM2003SE however its basically the same for WM2002.

If you do not already have GPRS and Proxy settings on the phone in Data Connections you have to add them. I my instructions it shows how to edit them, all you have to do is where it says edit, select "New" instead and enter the settings that are in my blog.

I did the setup like you have it but it still does not work for me. Do I need to sign up for data plan before I can connect to internet? I don't mind doing per useage. I get the following message. "Unable to connect. Verify you have network coverage and try again."

Also I don't see MMS settings on my phone. I have MPx200 that's been upgraded to WM2003 and unlocked.

Thanks.
